Target group / audience

This section should describe to which target group(s) the activities are dedicated i.e. SMEs in general, SMEs in specific sector, regional authorities, sectoral organisations, etc. by making the link with the COSME work programme.

GREENERG-PRO targets directly the partner clusters’ management team and their members, but also their networks and ecosystems at both the EU and target countries. The main target groups are the following ones:

1

Partner clusters and their SME members, and COSMENERG-4i extended network of international alliances and strategic partnerships and associate clusters.

2

Business networks, innovation and internationalization actors, chambers of commerce and industry, public authorities in target countries.

Partner clusters have more than 300 SME members within the total number of 540 members at COSMENERG-4i, including SMEs, large companies, universities, local authorities, etc. All the members belong to the field of renewable energy and environmental technologies. Some SMEs have already participated in internationalization activities and have shown keen interest in participating in GREENERG-PRO (see letters of intent as annex to the Description of the Action).

Partner clusters have already carried out members’ need analysis as part of previous project activities (i.e. Cluster Excellence Programme, Clusters Go International – Strand 2).

As part of the joint work, partner clusters invited some partner organisations, including Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI), Vietnam Silicon Valley (VSV), Israel Smart Energy Association (ISEA), ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC), to participate in the Danube Business Forum 2019 in Serbia. As part of our formal collaboration, we have agreed and established an agenda for joint cooperation and they have shown a keen interest in GREENERG-PRO and offered their support through letters of intent (see letters of intent as annex to the Description of the Action).
