COMPUTEX 2024 is a major event in the global technology industry, serving as a milestone to showcase cutting-edge AI technological innovations and sets a precedent for sustainability future technological development. Through these initiatives, it aims to inspire industry-wide adoption of eco-friendly practices and pave the way for a greener future. Professionals from various fields are welcome to participate.

COMPUTEX 2024, scheduled for June 4 to 7 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, will unfold under the theme “Connecting AI". The organizers anticipate the participation of 1,500 exhibitors covering six major domains: AI Computing, Advanced Connectivity, Future Mobility, Immersive Reality, Sustainability and Innovations.

To promote the concept of sustainability and environmental protection, COMPUTEX 2024 will launch the ESG GO! series of activities, including the first "Sustainable Design Award," as well as the continuation of last year's well-received "ESG GO Booth Signage" and "Earth Mission APP," guiding the industry towards a green transformation in exhibitions.

Event 1: Sustainable Design Award

With the rise of ESG sustainable governance, the exhibition industry is embracing a new trend toward natural sustainability. As a global leading AIoT and startup industry exhibition, COMPUTEX aims to encourage exhibiting companies to implement the concept of green exhibitions through practical actions. This year, the "Sustainable Design Award" is established to inspire companies to incorporate the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) principles into booth design and exhibition activities, jointly creating a low-carbon, low-pollution, and low-energy consumption exhibition environment. Through the promotion of the Sustainable Design Award, not only can new development models be brought to exhibitions, but it will also lead the entire exhibition industry towards a more sustainable future.

Event 2: Green Booth Signage Recognizing Enterprises with Sustainable Certifications

COMPUTEX 2024 continues to promote sustainable operations, calling on all exhibiting partners to jointly commit to environmental sustainability and green manufacturing. To demonstrate commitment to the environment, the organizers invite exhibitors certified by RE100, Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Sustainalytics Index, MSCI ESG Index, and other certifications to participate. ESG GO! signage will be displayed on the booths of certified companies, symbolizing the image of a green supply chain, and further promoting broader corporate participation in exploring sustainable innovation and transformation through high technology.

Event 3: Earth Mission APP Cultivating Sustainable Lifestyle Habits

This year, COMPUTEX continues to collaborate with Acer, inviting all attendees to use the Acer Earth Mission APP to establish green lifestyle habits in 21 days. This APP, which won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2023, was also awarded "Best App of the Year" and "Best App for Social Contribution" on Google Play. The organizers encourage attendees to download the APP during the COMPUTEX exhibition and complete designated tasks to participate in a lottery, thereby encouraging everyone to develop environmentally friendly habits.
